The 2024 Little League Baseball World Series will begin on August 14th in Williamsport, PA. The Region Tournaments are underway throughout the United States. Two of those Region Tournaments are happening in Whitestown, Indiana (Great Lakes Region, Midwest Region).
Hinsdale Little League from Hinsdale, Illinois won the state tournament nearly ten days ago in Rock Falls. Hinsdale opened up with a 3-0 win over Jaspar, Indiana in the Great Lakes Region. The team from Illinois is just two wins away from punching their ticket to the World Series. Hinsdale will play on Monday night at 6pm. The game will be nationally televised on ESPN.
Davenport Southeast Little League is competing in the Midwest Region and currently has a record of 1-1. Davenport opened up the tournament with 12-3 over Kansas on Friday, but lost in the second round to a team from Missouri 3-2. Davenport needs a win to stay in the tournament when the play on Monday at 3pm.
The winners of both Region Tournaments will advance to the Little League World Series later this month.
